The Centre operates an approved non – compulsory Kindergarten programme and receives funding from the Queensland government. The programme is conducted within the Kindergarten group under the following conditions:
- Provided for children in the year prior to Prep (i.e. who are 4 years old by 30 July in the year they participate in an approved kindergarten program) for at least 15 hours per week and 40 weeks per year
- Aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline and the principles of the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Delivered by an Educator with an early childhood teaching qualification approved by the Australian children’s Education and Care Quality Authority ACECQA.
The standard fee for the Kindergarten group includes the approved programme and parents do not incur any additional charge above the standard Kindy fee based on the session your child attends.
